Lucky Lopez is a Retired Marine with an eye for Realism and an imagination to portray it in his art. He spent time in war in Vietnam as a "tunnel rat" and in Saudi Arabia as a squad and platoon leader on the front lines during Desert Storm. To top that off, he was a well respected Primary Marksmanship Instructor at the "Birthplace of Marines", Paris Island. It is evident that Lucky's passion for art is reflective of his service and love for his country.
His choice of artistic style, called Stippling, is one that requires a great deal of patience. Stippling is the technique of using small dots to simulate varying degrees of solidity or shading. You can read more about Stippling

“Realism… I want people to see realism with my art.”

“On a t-shirt, LOL! No seriously, I just want my art to be appreciated by those who can relate to it. I’m a Marine and many fellow Marines love my art because they can relate it to something in their Marine Corps experience.”
