Procedures For Applying Art To Fabric
Digital Heat Transfer
By printing a mirror image of our designs or your designs onto a special transfer paper, we are able to apply a predetermined amount of heat and pressure to transfer the image to the fabric. We use standard industrial heat presses. All designs are custom printed to order on your choice of shirt style and color.
Screen Printing (Silkscreening)
Each design we use must be color separated (separated into individual color images). We create screens from our designs by printing each separated image on a transparent acetate sheet and transposing that image onto a screen coated with emulsion. After exposure to a high-density lamp, the screen is washed and then placed over the t-shirt or other fabric. A squeegee is used to "smooth" the correct color of ink onto the shirt. Each color on the shirt requires a separate ink screen. The ink on the shirt is then heat-cured in a high temperature dryer and the shirt is ready for inspection, recounting and packaging.
Embroidery
All designs, when being embroidered, must be digitized to produce the correct stitch pattern and to determine the stitch count. We transform your design images into embroidery designs with incredibly stunning detail and professional results. We then create beautifil embroidery on your shirts, caps, jackets and other fabric accessories.
Fabric Hand Painting
Our talented artist, armed with great design ideas, will transform your t-shirts and other clothing and accessories using a variety of painting techniques and an assortment of paint applications. In our hand-painting processes, we utilize airbrushing, fabric brushes, fabric dyes, paint pens, color fabric paint sprays, and dimensional paints. We also embelish our designs with rhinestones, beads, buttons and charms. Our hand painted designs are usually one-of-a-kind creations suited for distinguished buyers.
